COVID-19 Precautions

March 13, 2020
We find ourselves in some unprecedented times currently with the Covid-19 virus.  As you know, it is a very fluid situation with changes almost by the minute.  Please know that Lindsay and I are here to continue to support you through this process.   To do so we will be implementing the following:
1)      We have the capability to provide HIPAA compliant tele-health sessions utilizing your computer or phone.  The system we are using is very simple to use.
2)      In office sessions will continue for the time being, but this may be modified at any time depending on the spread of the virus and recommendations from the CDC, State etc.….  This particularly applies to children as they need more of a one-to-one in person approach. If you wish to utilize tele-health, please advise your clinician and we will send you a link.  Please utilize tele-health if you are sick in anyway or if members of your family are sick.
3)      If you are a Military One Source client and wish to utilize the telephonic options provided through MOS please advise Donna Bennett.
4)      We will be increasing cleaning of office areas and surfaces.
5)      Any documents that need to be signed will be emailed to you and you can scan and email them back to us for upload to the system.  If you have documents that require our signature, please email them to us.  We will sign them and email them back to you.
6)      Please come into the building at the start time for your session.  We will also be ending sessions in a manner so that there is minimal cross traffic of clients coming in and going out.
7)      To help prevent the spread of germs we will be limiting office access to clients being seen for sessions.
a.       If you are dropping off a child, please bring them to the door at the time their session begins.  We will walk them out when their session is over.
b.       Please do not bring siblings or others to the session or to wait in the waiting room. Take advantage of our early spring and go for a nice walk or down to the wharf.
c.       Parents, please be visible when we walk children out so that we know that they get to you.
d.       If parents have concerns they want to share with the clinician, please email those ahead of time so we can address them.
8)      If you need to come into the building for any reason, please wait in the waiting room area, which is the area attached to the kitchen.   9)      Most of all, if you are sick, please stay home and take good care of yourself!! This process will be ever changing.

As I write this on Friday, it might all change by Monday so please be patient with us if we must make last minute changes.

If you have questions, please contact us.  Please know that we continue to be here to support you and your family.
